Tactical roles in your profile
Tactical roles describe how you usually play in a five-stack. You can set them on your player profile and on a team member card. In teammate search they help find compatible players.
How selection works:
- Tags (optional): IGL and Support. Alone they do not complete the role requirement.
- Main role — you must pick one of:
- AWPer, or
- exactly one Defense (CT) role and exactly one Attack (T) role.
- If AWPer is selected, CT and T roles are hidden. In Telegram bot onboarding you pick roles first (AWPer / CT+T), then optional IGL and Support tags.
Website form order: IGL → Support → AWPer → CT and T dropdowns.
Bot onboarding: roles (AWPer first, then CT/T) → tactical tags (IGL / Support).
Tags
| Role | Meaning |
|---|---|
| IGL | In-Game Leader. Calls strategy, timings, and mid-round decisions. |
| Support | Utility and team support: smokes, flashes, molotovs, helping entry and pace. |
Main role: AWPer
| Role | Meaning |
|---|---|
| AWPer | Primary sniper. Plays around the AWP and long-range positions. |
Defense (CT)
| Role | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Anchor | Holds a site or key position; usually rotates later. |
| Rotator | Moves between sites flexibly; helps on retakes and reinforcements. |
Attack (T)
| Role | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Entry | Opens the round: first contact and site executes. |
| Trader | Follows entry, trades kills quickly, and supports the take. |
| Lurker | Plays away from the pack: info, flanks, and pressure from another part of the map. |
A clear main role makes your card easier to read and improves smart search. IGL and Support tags add context but do not replace AWPer or a CT/T pair.
