Coach reputation and ratings
Reputation helps teams understand the experience of players who have worked with a coach. It appears in the coach directory and profile when the feature is available in the app.
What the reputation summary shows
Once there are enough ratings, the directory card shows one star and the coach's overall rating on a 1–5 scale. The profile also shows the share of players willing to work with the coach again, averages for each criterion, team and rating counts, and commonly selected strengths.
The overall rating is the equally weighted average of the five criteria, rounded to one decimal place. If there are not enough ratings for a reliable summary, the app says there is too little data and does not show the overall rating, percentages, or averages. If there are no ratings yet, the missing summary does not mean the coach has a low rating.
The exact threshold for a detailed summary is not shown. It requires ratings from several independent teams.
Who can rate a coach
Only players whose shared work with the coach on the same team and sufficient overlap in time have been confirmed can submit a rating. The app decides whether the action is available; you do not need to check or calculate team membership, dates, or other details yourself.
If Rate coach is not shown, you cannot submit a rating for that coach at this time. The page may explain why, such as missing confirmed shared work. Eligibility can change, so follow the actions shown on the coach's page.
Create or edit a rating
- Open the coach's page and select Rate coach if it is available.
- Rate five separate criteria from 1 to 5: tactical competence, review quality, training process, work with the team, and reliability.
- Answer Yes or No to whether you would work with this coach again.
- Optionally select up to three strengths, then save your rating.
If the app allows editing, select Edit rating. The editing period may expire; then the app shows that you have already rated the coach but cannot change the rating. The app determines which actions are available and when.
Delete your rating
If Delete rating is available, select it and confirm. After deletion, your rating no longer contributes to the coach's summary. Whether you can submit another rating after deleting one is checked separately by the app.
Privacy
The directory and profile show aggregate values only. Reviewer names, team names, and individual ratings are not published. There are no public text reviews or reviewer lists. You can manage only your own rating.
If a coach hides their profile from search, the profile and its summary are not visible in the public directory. The app determines whether you can still manage a rating you already submitted.
If the reputation section or the action you need is not available yet, the feature may not have reached your version of the app. Check the page again later.
