How to find a coach
When coach search is available, open Coaches from the sidebar or mobile navigation menu in player mode. The directory shows coach profiles that are open to search. Your own profile is excluded.
A coach card may also appear in the Telegram community. Its View coach button opens the profile in Coaches. If the coach later hides the profile or coach search is turned off, the earlier link becomes unavailable.
You can also open the directory with Find a coach in your team's coaching staff section. In this case, Back to team appears above the search and returns you to the roster.
Use filters for minimum experience, specialization, map, team level, work format, available time, and language. If a coach profile lists multiple levels or work formats, the filter matches when at least one selected option matches. Filters apply to the entire directory. Clear them if no profiles match.
The SMART switch changes the result order using available information from your player profile, including maps and languages. The directory still works when that information is unavailable. SMART helps compare options without limiting the results to matching profiles. Your selected mode is saved in this browser and restored after a page refresh.
Cards show each coach's name, coaching experience, specialties, team levels, work formats, maps, languages, and availability. Once there are enough ratings, one star and an overall score on a 1–5 scale appear on the card. Personal FACEIT level and ELO appear only when available. Select a card to open a separate page with the coach's approach, achievements, and the roles they work with. A direct link works after a browser refresh; the page becomes unavailable if the coach closes their profile to search.
The coach page also shows any website, VK, YouTube, and Twitch links they added. When gaming data is available, you can see their personal FACEIT level, ELO, and links to FACEIT and Steam. If the coach has an accessible player profile, Player profile appears in both the directory and full card. Empty links and missing ratings are hidden.
You can browse coaches without your own profile, but their links and reputation are hidden. A prompt at the top offers to complete your profile; links and ratings become available afterward.
Searching and opening a profile does not send an invitation. Adding a coach to a team's staff depends on your permissions for that team.
