What is CS2 Team Finder
CS2 Team Finder is a CS2 team management platform. It helps you build a lasting roster and organize the team's work: assign roles, schedule practices and matches, manage tasks, track attendance, and arrange praccs. Player search supports that workflow instead of being the platform's only purpose.
You can:
- fill a player profile with rating, roles, maps, languages, and schedule;
- create a team and manage the roster;
- search players for your team’s needs;
- assign permissions and in-game roles;
- plan practices and matches in the calendar;
- assign team tasks and track completion;
- confirm attendance and retain participation statistics;
- find opponents for praccs;
- receive team notifications in a Telegram group.
Players can also find matching teammates, send requests, and save profiles to favorites.
Use Home, marked with a house icon below the sidebar collapse button, to return to the home page for your selected player or coach mode. After sign-in, it greets you and shows actions relevant to your current state. In player mode, urgent matters and next steps appear in priority order: these may include completing your profile, linking Steam, answering requests, a personal task, a team event, or publishing a pracc. Cards open the relevant section or item directly; an event card says clearly when your attendance needs confirmation. In coach mode, Home brings together actions, upcoming events, personal tasks, and the teams you work with.
Above Support in the sidebar, you can create your missing player or coach profile. If you have both profiles, a Player mode / Coach mode switch appears there. After creating a second profile, its Home opens. If you do not want to create a coach profile yet, select Hide in the corner of the card on player Home; restore the suggestion in Settings → General. A What's new section may appear below. The CS2 Team Finder team publishes these short update cards from the admin panel with a title, text, and an optional image. Home initially shows five cards; Show more reveals the rest. Select a card to read the full text in a viewer; when several updates are published, you can move between them there. It is not a blog: cards do not have separate article pages. The section is available even without a completed player profile, but is hidden completely when no cards are published.
CS2 Team Finder works in the web app and inside the Telegram Mini App. Available sections depend on profile readiness and account state.
Owners and captains manage player positions on the dedicated My team → Positions page. The Open a position action in the roster opens the form there; the list is not mixed into the roster or team settings. A team may publish several positions, and players can compare all of that team's open positions under Open positions before applying to a specific one and confirming any later team invitation.
In-app messaging is not available yet.
