How to use the team stratbook
Open My Team → Stratbook. Choose a map first and then General, Attack, or Defense. Use General for map-wide rules and materials that are not tied to a side. Filter strategies by No economy, Full buy, Force, Eco, or Pistol economy.
Opening Attack or Defense immediately shows the first active strategy. An owner, captain, or coach can reorder strategies by dragging a row from its dotted handle. With a keyboard, focus the handle and use the Up or Down arrow. The order is saved and remains after a page refresh.
Map roles
Select Map roles in the stratbook toolbar to quickly view the starting lineup's Attack and Defense assignments. The summary also shows Support and Bomb Carrier responsibilities. Team members can view it, and it updates after the settings are saved; use the separate Configure roles action to edit assignments.
The owner, captain, or coach can open Configure roles. One form shows every starting-lineup player with separate Attack and Defense role fields. Attack offers A Lurker, B Lurker, Entry, and Trader; Defense offers A Anchor, B Anchor, and Rotator. AWP is available in both lists. Attack and Defense use separate tabs. Support is an independent checkbox for each player, while Bomb Carrier is available only on Attack and can be selected for one player. Read-only roster badges under the nickname show the matching T or CT role together with common IGL, AWPer, and Support roles. The matrix is saved per map, and blank fields are never filled automatically. A player can therefore anchor B on Mirage and anchor A on Inferno. Slot indexes only order players in the form and are not stored inside strategies.
Type @ in a stage description and select a role from the full menu beside the caret. After @, you can search by role name or the assigned player's nickname. After leaving text mode, the editor shows the
current @nickname; select the description to edit its role-backed source again. Assigning a new player to that role
updates every linked strategy automatically. A strategy with an unassigned role remains available and shows the role
name with a warning.
Strategy content
The round plan is made of stages. Every stage has a short name and a description of the team's actions. Use Add stage to continue the sequence. The active stage has a compact toolbar at the bottom of its card for changing field height, reordering, or deleting the stage. The header chevron collapses or expands the description. All stages are expanded when the editor opens; collapse any stage you do not need manually. The active stage field grows automatically to show all text. It can also be resized vertically from its lower corner or toggled between normal and tall height. Long descriptions and links show only the remaining character count. Strategy titles, short goals, and stage titles do not show counters. The strategy autosaves together with its stages.
A strategy includes a name, optional short goal, optional economy, and round plan. Choose No economy when a strategy works with any buy. General is one shared map-materials section for rules, working notes, and up to ten useful links. Rules and notes grow with their content and show the full text, including on mobile screens. Strategies and economy filters live only under Select Edit to change General: rules, notes, and links open as one draft. Select Save to apply every change or Cancel to restore the saved content. The app asks for confirmation before switching map or side with unsaved changes. The print action in the same toolbar creates a document with the selected map's General rules, notes, and links. Strategies and economy filters live only under Attack and Defense. Useful links in General and resources attached to individual strategies use the same cards: YouTube, Vimeo, VK, and VK Video play inside the stratbook, while a separate source button remains available. A regular link opens by selecting the whole resource card.
Select Add strategy below the list. On mobile, the button stays fixed above the bottom navigation while you scroll a long list. The editor opens on the right using the same master-detail pattern as Team Tasks. Once the title and strategy text are filled in, the strategy and later changes save automatically. An indicator appears only while saving or when saving fails. Use Cancel to close the editor. If the draft still has unsaved changes, the app asks before closing it or switching map or side; reloading or leaving the page also triggers the browser warning. The same discard confirmation protects changed role settings.
Use Print for a prepared A4 layout that can be printed or saved as PDF. It includes map, side, economy, stages, current player mentions, resource URLs, and document version without navigation or editing controls.
YouTube, Vimeo, VK, and VK Video links are detected automatically and open in an embedded player over the stratbook. Close the player with its close button, the backdrop, or Escape. Other URLs remain regular external links.
Strategy actions are grouped in a compact toolbar: print, archive, edit, and delete. Archived strategies live in a collapsed section at the bottom of the list and can be restored. Deletion is permanent and only runs after confirmation in a dedicated dialog.
Members with tactics access can view the stratbook. The owner, captain, and coach can create and edit it.
Create a task or event from a strategy
At the bottom of an open strategy, use Create task or Create event when your role allows that action. The regular Tasks or Calendar form opens with the strategy and map names already included in the title. Review the remaining fields and save the form as usual.
