Team tasks
Teams can assign simple tasks to specific players: watch a demo, practice spray, prepare for a pracc. Any active player can also quickly create a personal task for themselves.
This is not a task board and not a calendar replacement. The workspace is the Tasks tab. Overview only shows a few current tasks and an All tasks link. Tasks with a due date also appear on the Calendar as deadlines — distinct from events (see How the team calendar works).
Who can do what
- Owner, captain, and coach create team tasks, pick assignees, see
X / Yprogress, edit, and cancel active tasks. - Any active player can create a personal task for themselves only (title → optional due → create), see it in their task list, edit it, and mark it done.
- Personal tasks use a single-player icon and a compact Personal label; team tasks use a group icon. The redundant
0 / 1progress is hidden for personal tasks. Their details also omit the assignee block because the only assignee is always you. Tasks from leadership may show Assigned by: …. - Self-assigned personal reminders are not counted in team discipline / engagement metrics the same way manager-assigned tasks are.
Navigation
Team tabs: Overview | Roster | Calendar | Tasks | Statistics | Settings.
- Overview — dashboard: up to five current tasks, create from quick actions, All tasks →.
- Tasks — a single personal work list with task details. Viewing does not open a modal over the page.
Lists on Tasks
The tab only shows tasks where you are an assignee, including both personal and team tasks. Other players' tasks are not shown here, even to owners, captains, or coaches. Active tasks are shown immediately, while finished work is kept below in the collapsible Completed section.
Active tasks sort: overdue → today → soonest due → no due. Completed tasks are calm history, separate from current work.
Viewing a task
- Desktop: list on the left, selected task on the right (master-detail). There is no separate close step; select another task from the list.
- Mobile: list → detail screen → back to list.
Creation opens a separate form: press Add task in Overview quick actions, or use + Add task on the Tasks tab. On mobile, the button stays fixed above the bottom navigation while you scroll a long list. The title remains editable in the right pane. To change the description, press the pencil button in the text block header; the value saves when you leave the field. Any http:// or https:// addresses in the description automatically become links and open in a new tab. There is no separate link field. In the creation form, select a Completion date manually or use Today, Tomorrow, or In a week. There is no separate time field.
Schedule a task discussion
- Open an active team task on Tasks.
- Press Schedule discussion. The action is available to the owner and captain, matching team-calendar event permissions.
- A form opens over the Tasks workspace without switching to Calendar, with type Task discussion and the task title. On mobile it uses a screen-height scrollable sheet. A future due time becomes the event start; when the task has no due time or it is already past, choose the date and time manually.
- Check the audience and create the event. A task discussion is always a one-off event.
The task and event remain independent: editing or completing the task does not automatically move or cancel a discussion that was already created.
Create a team task
- Open Team → Overview or Tasks (needs task management rights).
- On Overview, press Add task in quick actions, or use + Add task on the Tasks tab.
- Enter a title; optionally add a description and due time. Put any required links directly in the description.
- Choose assignees: Starting five, All players, or specific players (you may be pre-selected — change freely).
- Press Assign.
When a Telegram group is connected and Settings → Telegram notifications → Notify about new team tasks is enabled, the group receives the task title, description, and assignees after creation. The Open tasks button leads directly to the Tasks tab. Personal tasks created by a player only for themselves are never posted to the group.
Create a personal task
- Open Overview or Tasks.
- On Overview, press Add task in quick actions, or use + Add task on the Tasks tab.
- Enter a title; optionally description and due time. Assignee is only you.
- Press Create.
Complete a task
- On the Tasks tab, mark a task done with the circle on its left. On phones and tablets, the same circle appears to the left of the open task title. The detail stays open after toggling, so an accidental tap can be undone immediately.
- On Overview, you can also complete a task with the circle on its card.
When every current assignee is done, the task becomes Completed and moves to history.
The green marker remains interactive in Completed. Press it again to undo your completion and return the task to the active list. If the whole team had already completed the task, it becomes active again.
Cancel a task
If a team task is no longer needed, an owner, captain, or coach opens it and focuses an editable field. Cancel task then becomes available with a required confirmation. History remains. Leaving the team with an open assignment removes that assignment automatically.
